- World Press Photo contest, winner is spanish photographer Samuel Aranda’s image of a woman cradling a wounded relative in Yemen this year.
"... it shows a private, intimate side of what went on. And it shows the role that women played, not only as care-givers, but as active people in the movement.” Aranda said, and i must say that this photograph is filled with so many emotions its hard to absorb, the pain.
I say good on Samuel Aranda, and certainly deserved to win!
