It's about a young girl called Caroline, who moves from the city to a really nothing town, where people are weirdly religious, stoners, and there's a serial killer on the loose. Caroline begins and affair with her teacher, provoked by her boredom. At the same time to cover up the fact she's sleeping with her teacher she agrees to go out on a date with her odd classmate Thurston.
Kat Dennings, who plays Caroline, plays a very witty and sarcastic role, that any teenage girl can relate to.
I really like the fact that the movie was not a typical hollywood movie, it was honest and weird and fantastic, and I really recommend it. Below you can watch the trailer:
