-Rihanna's Man Down video was released at the end of May. I only saw it today, and I must say it's absolutley fantastic. The whole Jamaican scenery, the filming is natural, the song is great, and her theme about sexual assault is inspiring. However i can understand why she's getting backlash. The video deals with rape and murder, and maybe sends the wrong message to rape victims. But it does portray very well, how a rape or an assault victim may feel, and what they may do. I think it's a fantastic piece of work, and it even though the message isn't exactly appropriate, rape or assault victims around the world will listen to this song and know they are not the only ones with the thoughts Rihanna puts into action in the video.
